New garden parks

When a park is created on a corner lot or on any lot containing rowhomes which are still standing, why not allow the "side of the rowhome which is facing the lot to have a brick facade with some windows? That would make it far more appealing than even a mural can. If there is a concern over privacy, perhaps the windows could start onthe second floor.
If the lot is already a park, why NOT put a brick facade? Otherwise you end up with strange looking bare walls, or cartoonish murals. Windows add sunlight to the buildings and a beautiful view of a green lot. That adds value. It is a simple thing to do and it creates value for the property owners. Everyone who shares that corner would benefit by having the brick facades carried through to the sides facing the "new park".

It is a long overdue idea.
